“I’m all for that. Is there anything else you need to tell me?”

He hesitated, surprising her. “One more thing.”

  “Oh God, what is it?”

“I don’t want to hurt you.”

  “Say it!”

“I’ve turned over everything I was able to find out regarding your kidnapping to the police. Azalie is going to be questioned about money she took to help the kidnapper take you. I’m pretty sure she’ll be arrested and charged.”

“Wow, I never imagined she would stoop so low, but I knew all along she was jealous and desperate. I’m not hurt. I feel sorry for her and especially for Beau.”

“Sheila’s a good grandmother. She’ll come out fine.”

  A Note From Tressie,

I would like to thank you for reading my book. If you enjoyed it, please take a moment to review it and to let a friend know about me. A good review can help an author reach more people, and others will take a chance like you did. Thank you for your help, and happy reading.
